Hurricane Sandy is on her Way!

We are advising everyone that Hurricane Sandy, also known as "Frankenstorm" is surely on her way. Hurricane Sandy is scheduled to arrive as early as Sunday and continue onto either Monday or Tuesday, according to the Weather Channel.

Justin Beiber is Coming to the Meadowlands

Are you ready for Beiber fever? Justin Beiber will be performing at the Izod Center for one night only and ONE NIGHT ONLY! On Friday, November 9th, at 7pm people will experience what Justin's worldwide "Believe" tour, is all about. For parents coming to the hotel with their kids, please feel free to take advantage of our in-house restaurant, the Chairman's Grill, while the kids are away at the concert. A Huge Thank You from the Sheraton Meadowlands

In less than 2 weeks, the Sheraton Meadowlands made a commitment to raise at least $500 for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. This past Sunday, staff members joined together in Ridgefield Park, NJ to attend the 5K walk associated with the campaign. Everyone had an amazing time and it was wonderful to see so many people joining together for an incredible cause.

As a hotel, we were able to exceed our goal of $500 with raising a total of $715! We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every person that donated on behalf of our team and the individuals that donated their time to join us in the walk.

The event was a huge success and we look forward to making this an annual event for the hotel.

Our Staff All "Pinked" Out

The Sheraton Meadowlands staff members decided to bring our their pink wardrobe in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. As a hotel, we have registered to walk this Sunday at Ridgefield Park, NJ bright and early to show how supportive we are of this cause. So far, our hotel has a goal of $500 and we are currently more than halfway there. The hotel is positive that we will surpass this goal. More updates to come from our walk on Sunday.

Sheraton Meadowlands is Making Strides, So Can You!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we at the Sheraton Meadowlands would like to get involved to help raise money and awareness for this cause.  We will be participating in the 2012 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 21, 2012 at 9am at the NEW Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.  We have a goal of $500, so please help us meet and exceed this goal!

Tonight, the MetLife Stadium is hosting a game that everyone is anxious to see. The undefeated Houston Texans will go head to head with the New York Jets. Will the Houston Texans continue their winning streak or will the NY Jets break that streak tonight? We'll just have to watch and see!

The Rematch is On!

In 2008, the Cleveland Browns played against the NY Giants and won. This Sunday, the two teams will go head to head once again at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands. This is sure to be a unpredictable game that will have fans hanging off their seats.
